itineraries. The ship must be in Bahamian waters for 24 hours prior to arriving in Nassau to meet the
licensing requirements. Couples are required to visit the court in person to obtain their license. If
either the bride or groom have not been previously married, they must pay an additional fee of $40
US per person ($75 US per person for non-U.S. citizens) in cash to the courthouse in Nassau on the
day of the wedding and sign an affadavit stating they've never been married.
